Accredited Training - First Aid - Specialist

A Level 3 OFQUAL qualification with a certificate issued by the awarding body FAA.

Anaphylactic shock, or anaphylaxis, is a life-threatening, serious allergic reaction to an allergen such as food substances or insect stings. Appropriate treatment is critical to survival. This anaphylaxis training is for qualified First Aiders from Emergency First Aiders or above, to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively.

This Outdoor First Aid course is designed for those who spend their time in the outdoors and remote areas, including Group Leaders and outdoor enthusiasts.

The course meets the 16 hour contact time requirements of Outdoor Qualifications.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively for casualties with breathing difficulties. Candidates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty while considering the safety implications of carrying, storing and administering.
