The following terms apply to Refer a Friend promotion or social media campaigns encouraging people to like the business page and share the promotion.
- The Promoter: Dewi Development Ltd
- The Supplier: Dewi Development Ltd
- Eligibility: The prize promotion is open to UK residents within Wales, England and Scotland from the age of 16 and over, excluding employees and their immediate families including spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparents or 'step' family.
- Age: Individuals between the age of 16 and 18 need the permission of the parent or guardian to enter and any alcoholic prizes will be awarded to the parent or guardian.
- Promotional Period: The Refer a Friend promotion will run until further notice and social media campaigns will run as detailed on the individual campaign.
- Draws: Draws will take place once a quarter, on the first working day of the month. These will be April, July, October and January.
- Draw: There will be one competition and draw for Refer a Friend and social media campaigns unless otherwise stated.
- Entry Periods: The entries will be taken up until the last working day of the quarter. Any entries received after the last working day will be included in the next quarters draw. These will be March, June, September and December.
- Entries: Individual can enter more than once in any one draw.
- Application Refer a Friend: The discount code and name of the person who made the referral must be provided at the time of booking to be included in the draw.
- Application social media: Individual must follow all instructions in the promotion, which will include liking the Business Page and sharing the post. The liked business page and share must still be active at the time of the draw.
- Referrals: Individuals can only claim 1 discount per person for a scheduled course place per course type e.g. First Aid, Safeguarding, Health and Safety etc.
- Prize: The prize will be as stated on the promotion. The prize must be accepted as offered by the promoter and supplier. There is no cash or alternative prizes, in whole or part. The prizes are not transferable and cannot be resold.
- Prize delivery: The prizes will be delivered by the most cost-effective delivery method to the office or home address of the individual within Wales, England or Scotland. The Promoter takes no responsibility for damage to the prize caused through poor delivery of the courier.
- No third party or bulk entries: If it becomes apparent that either a participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, multiple email accounts, multiple reproduced or computer-generated entries, using multiple identities, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these participants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
- Incomplete entries: Incomplete entries, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Any entries where referral name does not match course records will not be accepted and clarification of course attended by the referer may be requested. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatsoever reason.
- Entry recording: Entries will be recorded in the order they arrive for that quarter and assigned a number.
- Winner selection: The prize winner will be selected at random, through computer random generated number and referenced to the numbers recorded for that quarter and the name linked to the number.
- Winner notification: The winner will be notified by the e-mail address recorded on their candidate registration or via their social media account for social media competitions. Notifications will occur within 14 days of the draw and the prize winner has 14 days to claim the prize. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement if not responded to within the time frames. The Promoter may draw a new prize winner and allocate the prize to the new winner.
- Data records: It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct and up to date details at the time of candidate registration or on as part of their social media account. If candidate registration details change, it is the responsibility of the referer to notify the Supplier. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for prize winners failing to supply accurate details which affect prize acceptance.
- Promotion: As part of entry to the prize draw, you agree as a prize winner, to take part in and co-operate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name and comments in such publicity without a fee being payable.
- The name of winners in each quarter can be requested by contacting the Promoter by e-mail 28 days after the draw.
- Data Protection: Any personal information that entrants share with the Promoter will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions unless the entrant has opted into future marketing from the Promoter and/or the Supplier. By entering the promotion, entrants agree that their information may be used by the Promoter to administer the promotion and winners consent to give their name and county for the winners’ list.
- General: The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion. Those who try to circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
The Promoter and the Supplier reserve the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment. - Law: The Promotion and these terms and conditions, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to English or Welsh law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
