This course has been designed to help employers foster a positive mental health culture in their workplace. It provides learners with knowledge on a range of mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected.
As of November 2018, Mental Health provision is in the HSE First Aid needs assessment and companies should assess the needs for their business.
A Level 1 OFQUAL qualification with a certificate issued by the awarding body FAA.

This awareness course is suitable for everyone. It provides learners with knowledge which will enable them to recognise a suspected mental health condition and the understanding of the skills to start a conversation in order to signpost a person towards professional help.
On completion of the written assessment, you will achieve a Level 1 Award in First Aid for Mental Health Awareness.
