To safeguard and protect people from abuse or neglect, we need to learn how to identify vulnerable individuals and take necessary steps to stop abuse and neglect.
This course is designed for everyone, no matter the field that they work, to give them the knowledge to recognise the warning signs and how to report concerns. Together we can keep people safe!!
Available as a Level 2 OFQUAL regulated qualification or unaccredited from Dewi Development.
This half-day course covers the life-saving skills needed to save an infant, child or adult. The course provides the knowledge and practical skills to place someone in a recovery position, provide cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, deal with someone choking and safely use the automated external defibrillator.
This qualification only lasts for three years.

Fires in the workplace can have a devastating impact in terms of lives lost, injuries, damage to property and the environment.
This course is designed for all employees as an introduction to fire awareness, including the law, fire prevention and evacuation. It is an excellent addition to the induction programme for new employees.

This is a refresher course for candidates who already hold a Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health qualification achieved with Dewi Development Ltd.

This course has been designed to help employers foster a positive mental health culture in their workplace. It provides learners with knowledge on a range of mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected.

It provides an understanding of individuals' roles, the value and procedure of risk assessment, the control of workplace hazards and responding to workplace incidents.

This course provides an ideal approach to safer and more effective manual handling, not only meeting HSE recommendations but also promoting good and safe practices in any situation.
A Level 3 OFQUAL qualification with a certificate issued by the awarding body FAA.
Anaphylactic shock, or anaphylaxis, is a life-threatening, serious allergic reaction to an allergen such as food substances or insect stings. Appropriate treatment is critical to survival. This anaphylaxis training is for qualified First Aiders from Emergency First Aiders or above, to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively.
This Outdoor First Aid course is designed for those who spend their time in the outdoors and remote areas, including Group Leaders and outdoor enthusiasts.
The course meets the 16 hour contact time requirements of Outdoor Qualifications.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively for casualties with breathing difficulties. Candidates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty while considering the safety implications of carrying, storing and administering.
