First Aid Update with COVID-19 Concerns

This First Aid Continual Professional Development Session takes a look at your concerns with providing first aid during the current climate of COVID-19. We look to alleviate your anxiety by reviewing the correct order to don your infection control Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the safe order to remove the PPE without cross contamination.
We take a look at the current guidance from the resuscitation council on safe CPR during COVID-19 and we take the opportunity to recap your safe approach to a casualty.

This is a reminder that on the 30 September 2020 all extensions for First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid Work due to COVID-19 come to an end. If you were awarded an extension to your certificate due to COVID-19, it is important you get it renewed by 30 September 2020 to stay compliant with the law and ensure you have sufficient first aid cover in work.
